A quote that has been on my refrigerator for almost 10 years says, "Sometimes I would rather someone take years off my life than to take away a moment." I'm not sure who wrote it, but that is how I feel about photography. I am not capturing events, I am preserving a moment. From your 5 day old newborn's yawn to their special 5 year old smile or that special look between a newly engaged couple, or just a special tiime in your life that should be remembered - I feel it is these moments - the moments that will never come again - that must be captured.
My photography style is a mix between photojournalistic and traditional. I try to capture the candid moments that show emotion, personality and who you are. While there is some posing now and then, I like the session to take a form of it's own, allowing your family/children/event to be captured naturally. A photo session with me is fun and casual - allowing you to be who you are.
